I’m re- recording a song called “This is the Sound I’ve Been Looking For” for the next album and I want to put together an E-choir for the chorus hook. Will you join?!

You don’t need a fancy setup (although if you have one, that’s awesome) but it will require a some light engineering on your part.

1. Find a quiet spot and sing into some sort of voice memo app (there are plenty out there) on your smart phone or your computer.

2. There is an 8-count lead in. The lyrics are easy: “Da Da Dot Da, Ba Da Da Da Dot Da…” You’ll need headphones or earbuds so you can privately listen to the source track as you sing along with it. You may need to listen the track on one device while you record into another (unless you know how to use Garageband, Audacity, or Protools or whatever).

3. Send me the mp3 of your voice recording only (not mixed with the source track): bradblanco@gmail.com

4. I’ll mix everyone together on my end and make it sound like we’re all in the same room.
